The evening bonfire and fireworks party that we shared with the village was a great success. Masses of people turned up, the
fireworks were spectacular and Shenington PTA served lots of hotdogs,
burgers etc. It was a fine evening with a southerly wind which was great considering the weather earlier in the week. Lots of members came along and willingly pitched in to help wherever necessary.
Later in the evening 25 or 30 members and vistors from Weston-on-the-green enjoyed a chilli and baked
potato meal. Thanks to Liz for organising the food, and all who helped with building the bonfire/setting up the fireworks.
