Sunday 14th October

Another sunny day, though a frost overnight and foggy in the morning. First flights of the day were Graham Paul & Jon Carlton checking out the conditions - as you can see from Jon's photos there was cloud below winch height but luckily it was very broken:

The cloud got higher so a later K8 flight gave the following shots, but little in the way of lift!

Gail went soon after and got the longest flights of the day in the K8, finding some weak thermals. Lucy, Jane, Terry, Jon Luisada and Tess all had K8 flights too, while Andy, Mary, David Taylor & Bruno flew in DVX. Gary took Tess flying in G-WAVY - the views and cloudscapes were quite beautiful and the vis was good. John D flew Tim & Phil in the motorglider and also the K21, and they thoroughly enjoyed their flying.
Thanks to Jackie & Kevin for logging & winching, Rowan for winching (didn't need the tug today it seemed), and all the others that helped out. Congrats also to Alistair Frier for getting signed off on his Bronze.
